Hello, My Name is Sergio Salgado, Welcome to my GRC 275 Bio Page. I was born in Las Vegas back in 1970, I am one of those rare natives. I've always had a passion for the arts. From visual to performing, I have done most of it. From having punk rock bands since the age of 15 to running my own photographic business. I have always had an interest in graphic design starting with my first fanzines and development of my own fonts. But I didn't fully pursue it up until recently when I met my wife Ania. She pushed me to go back to school and really develop my interest. Within the last year or so I have switched my interest over to Web Design. Web Design is the future. I can see television eventually being eliminated. We are already seeing this with streaming music on the internet. This will hopefully be my last semester of school. I would also like to move from Las Vegas. There is so much happening here (finally) but wife being from Poland is starting to miss her homeland. Just imagine leaving a pine forest in your own backyard to arrive in an area with very little trees and triple digit temperatures. She has also started taking design classes. So combining our photo, design, and web skills will give us a great advantage wherever we land.

• I love music. I have a large collection and a very ecclectic style. I also love playing the bass, drums and keyboards.
• I'm a sucker for design and typography. I make it a point to attend Typecon, which is an international gathering of type afficionados.
