Typophile Typophile is a great resource for anyone wishing to know more about typography. They have a large membership group and I encourage anyone to join. Forums are open and you will be surprised as to who might answer. Many major designers frequent this site. Next time you see a Nabisco logo or the latest Adobe software remember these people are also members of Typophile.

Pitchfork Media Pitchfork Media is a great website to find the latest in independent music. I have found great links to not only indy-rock but also hip-hop, electronica, alt-country, metal, punk, and expreimental. They offer a section named, Forkcast, which is a collection of the latest MP3's, stream and videos. Pitchfork Media also encourages audience participation. This is a big benefit considering there are many music fans whom follow a specific artist and are always ready to offer the latest news which sometimes the mainstream gets weeks later.

Live LeakSince a child I have had a fascination with the news media. I even went on to attended the University of Nevada-Reno School of Journalism. My current news sources total over 60 different sites. From both sides of the fence: left wing and right wing, I try to see how stories change from one group to the next. One of the most middle of the road sites I have found has been Live Leak. They are a little more open than You Tube by offering video clips from a vast majority of sources. I get to see uncensored news which seems to be a big problem with our Democracy. It's almost as if we are blinded from the truth. Be prepared to see images you won't find on the 6 o'clock news.
